Collamatrix’s R&D team is committed to developing biomedical materials (e.g., collagen, hyaluronic acid, bioceramics, and synthetic polymers) and applying them to various medical domains such as soft/hard tissue repair and filling. Collamatrix has received multiple awards for R&D achievements by the Department of Industrial Technology and the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Collamatrix manufactures high-end biomedical materials and products by its own production technologies as well as internationally certified facilities and processes. Its standard production plants have been certified by ISO 13485 and GMP in Taiwan. The brands and products developed by Collamatrix that are already under mass production include CollaWound wound care products, CollaDental dental care products, and DermaFiller subcutaneous implants. Collamatrix’s own series of products have been approved for sales successively.

Product Line

Tissue Fillers

Tissue fillers are injected into the middle or deep layers of the dermis in areas where the skin sags.

Collagen Implants
 Collagen implants are tissue fillers made of complete collagen for restoring skin tissues to the most natural and elastic state.
Hyaluronic Acid Implants
 Hyaluronic acid plants are tissue fillers made of hyaluronic acid for maintaining tissue elasticity and face shape.

Soft Tissue Repair

Soft tissue repair is used on various acute or chronic wounds to help repair wounds on the skin.

CollaWound Collagen Sponge
 With a collagen-made sponge structure, this product can absorb wound exudate, form a layer of gel, and keep the wound moist to facilitate the healing process.
CollaWound Collagen Granules
 The collagen-made granule structure of this product can fill irregular or hole-shaped wounds and regulate the microenvironment of the wound to facilitate wound healing.
CollaWound DermaGel
 This product contains abundant wound gel that softens and activates wound tissue to facilitate wound debridement.
CollaWound Crosslink Sponge
 The reinforced collagen sponge structure of this product can facilitate dermis regeneration, and be used on deep wounds.

Hard Tissue Repair

This product is used in tooth extraction and dental wounds to facilitate the preservation of the alveolar bone for future dental surgeries.

CollaDental Matrix
 This collagen-made absorbable medical material can be used on wounds from oral and dental surgeries.
CollaDental Barrier
 This collagen-made absorbable film can stop soft tissue from affecting bone regeneration. This product can be used in peri-implant bone lifting and tissue formation, guided bone regeneration, and guided tissue regeneration.
CollaDental Graft
 This powder and the matrix of the alveolar bone have similar physical and chemical properties that can facilitate bone regeneration.
